SUPREME GRAND CHAPTER OF ROYAL ARCH MASONS OF VICTORIA
REPORT OF SUPREME COMMITTEE
HELD THURSDAY 21 FEBRUARY 2019
1. Accommodation of Joint Secretariat at new Masonic Centre of Victoria
After discussion it was determined by Supreme Committee that the office accommodation being offered by the United Grand Lodge of Victoria to house the Joint Secretariat (Supreme Grand Chapter and Grand Mark) was inadequate to meet the current and future needs of the Order. Therefore, it was decided to seek alternative office accommodation other than at the new Masonic Centre of Victoria to house and maintain the administration of this Supreme Grand Chapter. The Grand Scribe Ezra was directed to both verbally and in writing advise the United Grand Lodge of Victoria of this decision. Supreme Committee will now actively seek premises (other than at the new Masonic Centre of Victoria) for the future conduct of the administration of the Order once the tenure at the W A Tope Building, Royal Freemasons Homes (45 Moubray Street, Melbourne) expires.
2. Supreme Grand Chapter Strategic Plan 2019-2024
Supreme Committee considered at some length the Strategic Plan of Supreme Grand Chapter for 2019 – 2024. All five parts of the Plan (Education; Membership; Communication; Leadership & Management; Financial stability) will be fully updated. A ‘Planning to Succeed’ Action Plan will be implemented and an aggressive marketing strategy developed. All Chapters will receive further advice and correspondence on this subject.
